The latest unemployment rate has risen to 5.4% in August to 1.67 million. That is rather a lot of people available to fill jobs. There are many, many jobs which require very little on the job training, and vocational courses can be completed with the cooperation of UK employers if needed during working hours. The government doesn't give a damn about the unemployed or it would be helping this very large number of people into work instead of importing cheaper labour from abroad that employers can take advantage of. As for more skilled jobs, e.g. doctors, many of our teenagers are desperate to get on medical courses, but greedy universities are filling their courses with foreigners who they charge twice as much for the course. All jobs can be filled by the 1.67 unemployed and still have plenty left over for future vacancies. The myth about the need for migrants has to be shattered.

Marvellous - the wretched creature who wrote the report used to develop policy for the Lib Dems (http://www.ippr.org.uk/aboutippr/staff/?id=2316). Anyone thinking that a vote for the Liberals or Tories will result in change should consider how many other policy researchers have shuffled between the mainstream parties. Their policies are indistinguishable from one another because they use the same pool of 'talent' to develop them.
The same is true of the cosy relationship that IPPR enjoys with the media, especially the BBC who regularly pay IPPR to use their research as the basis of programs, for example the Born Abroad series and websites (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/uk/05/bor...). The interactive maps are based on a report written by IPPR, and the whole thing was praised by the Grauniad and The Scum.
It looks like both organisations are happy to enforce enrichment on us all, just so long as they're not required to employ too many foreign types in senior managerial positions. Isn't hypocrisy wonderful?
If you want real change, and not a repetition of the same failed policies of the last 50 years, then vote British National Party at the next election.

Over the past few days the truth has been coming out from high levels, it cannot be escaped any longer. We heard Darling's pathetic cry from the heart reported in the Guardian today and Mr Bean, Deputy Governor of the Bank of England who said that "Britain is facing a bout of social trauma as millions of overstretched families are hit by the financial fallout from another year of economic pain, the Bank of England's Deputy Governor suggested today. Charles Bean highlighted the danger of stress and social upheavals for many families as the still deepening economic downturn worsens financial strains on vulnerable households." Times
The debt laden economy is rapidly unwinding which means that the pre-crunch levels of activity and employment are unsustainable, as we see happening around us, and will fall of sharply. That means that we don't need migrants. They were sucked in by a quite fraudulent mickey mouse economy; and now the process must be reversed. What kind of a retard would fail to understand or accept this obvious truth?

The Labour party will get the votes of most of the immigrants that enter our country, they have probably worked out what proportion of votes they have got from immigrants in the past, and how many more immigrants they need to ensure a victory at the next election. Rather like that racist organisation Operation Black Vote ( or voice I forget), they will put into gear a propaganda campaign targeting immigrants to vote labour, and probably offer them a reward financial or otherwise, as they have already set the precedent that you can 'positively discriminate' and it is not unlawful. A lot like aparthied in SA. Upon Labour winning next time, and I jest not, because with this bunch anything can and does happen, we will have a government elected lagely by immigrants for immigrants. The recent result where the Tories vote collapsed is an astonishing result . With Labour so unpopular the Tories should be able to field a rabbit and it would win. It appears to me that the next election isn't going to be a one horse race, as many predicted. The Labour party will have noted how Red Ken kept power for so long with his pandering to all the minorities. They will utilise his knowledge of dirty politics ( as if they didn't need it ). Labour will not give up power easily as their job of destroying Britishness is far from over. I wouldn't bet a state of emergency being introduced to halt the election, because this country will be rife with riots by the desperately poor, race riots, short working weeks due to power cuts, people having no pensions to live on at retirement, and general civil unrest. Interesting times ahead, we will do well out of all of this.

The IPPR are highlighting a policy that will be very good for a BNP Leaflet. The Labour Policies should; be a very good recruiting tool for the BNP.
If we look at some parts of our goverment you will see that they are infiltrated by immigrants.
Just look at the Senior Officer in The Met now screaming discrimination, even Ken Livingstone is reported to have said he should SHUT UP.
More recruiting in the next few days folks. We have to have many more BNP voters for the E U elections next year, only 7 months to go. Also there are the Council elections, lets have a big increase in councillors also.

Through Nu Labour's actions it is clear what they really stand for, and I feel totally betrayed and sickened to the pit of my stomach. I used to be a voter of theirs, but haven't voted for anyone the last 5 years or so. [I will vote BNP next though ;)]
This useless waste of time and money "Think Tank " is not fit for purpose like everything else associated with this present Labour government not-of-the-people.
It's obvious to me that the hordes of forgotten, lost, and disillusioned white British unemployed should be trained and encouraged in any local work or skill-gaps. Things will only get worse, we are a tolerant and friendly people we British. But soon the lid will blow off!

What makes me laugh is all the "greenies" are opposed to more motorways because that just allows more cars.
Well, building more houses and providing more infrastructures will just attract more invaders.
Seriously, our British house says "Full, No Vacancy" the sooner we stop immigration the better. It is just stupid to believe that if we continually soak up immigrants we can delude ourselves that as an economy we are getting stronger.
The current economic collapse shows us that the housing boom and massive immigration burst deluded us to sustainable long run conditions.
Lastly, Nobody has every made a comparison with West Germany's economic problems with absorbing East Germany, sure Britain has weathered this invasion of East European peoples as the world economy has been strong, but what now as we enter into recession?
Close the doors, get this country back on its traditional roots and restore our patriotism, our pride and most importantly our culture.
Labour and the Tories have a lot to answer for, trying to destroy our homeland.

In terms of the benefits of "immigrants" well, there are actually very few.
The ONLY benefits are these (In relation to having less people):
Their taxes are greater than the consumption of tax generated provisions. Given the age and profile this might actually be true.
They fill gaps in the labour market that British workers cannot/will not do.
The Negatives are:
Inward pressure to provide more infrastructure, hospitals schools etc.
Increased demand for housing and competing with British people for space to have families. If you live in a studio flat you won't be having a family.
They can undercut British workers generally because they do not have families to support and many can live to a house.
Obviously, the above is not an inclusive list... but make no doubt about it, bringing in immigrants will drop British standards more to their home levels in a recessionary environment. Immigrants need to be out in a recession, as jobs are needed for the unemployed British.
...... Stop it - you are sounding just like McBean (all hail our great leader) with his 'British jobs for British workers' speech. Meanwhile, Harridan Hardperson says that it's OK to discriminate against white English males when recruiting for new jobs.
